NFC 4 - Swift 12 (zon)

Great performance today from our team. Although we missed Kieran and Moritz, we managed to pull together and play offensive, yet balanced game against the opponent who won us last time with the score of 2-1.

From the very beginning we put lots of pressure on opponents, allowing us to control the pace, making our opponents do unessessary mistakes and not allowing them to leave their half for the most of the first half. 

Just after six minutes we were able to score the first goal from a beautiful cross made by Thiery (who played a try-out match with us) to Marko who continued with a smashing volley. Bravo !

All goals were beautiful and all well deserved thanks to our determination and focus. 
Protus and Milad - each each their hat-trick goals today ! Vanosse and Marko added one goal each.  

Few minutes before the first half ended the referre pointed onto a penalty due to quite a doubtful fault we made. Ilya’s dive to the left and the shot to the right made the score of 4-1 at the halftime. 

Second half - pressure we put on opponents just after the break was quite quickly translated into our fifth goal. In fact, this was probably the first time we started the second half with the same intensity level as the first showing to me that not only players do follow the direction but also in a better physical condition allowing them to do the extra mile and force the oponents to lose the ball. Well done ! 

All in all - it was a REAL pleasure to coach the team today. Not only we celebrated a great victory, but also enjoyed a beautiful spring weather in combination with Ilya’s birthday (and today’s victory) celebration with beers, shots of Jagermeister and pizzas.
