Our rules of conduct

NFC Players – Rules of conduct

Before the training/matches

·       Be on time.

·       Wear shin guards: no shin guards – no playing.

·       Change in the changing room and not on the pitch.

During the training/matches

·       Show respect for the referee in word and gesture and accept his/her decision, even if you do not agree.

·       Play fairly and behave sportsmanlike, even if others do not.

·       Enjoy a victory without belittling the opponent.

·       Stay positive after a defeat – winners know how to handle a loss.

·       Congratulate the opponent if they have won.

After the training/matches

·       Leave the changing room neatly after use, home and away.

·       Help clean up after training.

Always

·       Treat others with respect and equality: team members, opponents, referees, trainers, coaches and other volunteers.

·       Have fun and always give 100% to the team!!

 

NFC Parents/Caretakers – Rules of conduct

 

Before the training/matches

·       Let your child know that you are proud, regardless of the result.

·       Put the emphasis on having fun. Fun and a sportsmanship mentality leads to better performance.

·       Help with transport of players to an away game.

·       Ensure that your child is on time.

During the training/matches

·       Do not coach your child during the matches, the coach has been appointed for this.

·       Encourage sports: not just your own child. Show enthusiasm and support your child and other players.

·       Control your emotions.

·       Respect the decisions of the referee, even if you do not agree.

·       Help as referee/linesman during matches.

·       Do not enter the field during matches, but stay behind the fences.

After the training/matches

·       Encourage your child to thank the referee and the opponents.

·       When your child is disappointed: focus on things that went well during the match or training.     

Always

·       Treat others with respect and equality: players, parents, opponents, referees, trainers, coaches and other volunteers.

·       Have fun and enjoy your child playing football!!
