The NFC4 team secured a hard-fought 0-2 victory against the home DEVO ’58 team on a very bad football pitch in today's match.

Despite the poor conditions, both teams showed good intent from the outset, with the NFC4 dominating the early exchanges. However, we struggled to create clear-cut chances as the grass pitch made it difficult to control the ball.

In the 14th minute, we managed to break the deadlock through an owned goal scored by DEVO after a massive pressure on their goal. The home team tried to respond quickly, but their attacks were consistently thwarted by our resolute defense.

As the game progressed, the pitch deteriorated even further, making it challenging for both teams to maintain possession. Despite this, on a 34^th minute after a beautiful ball interception by Kieran Pettett and a long pass to Marko Feric, the latter made no mistake and found his way to the goal. A well deserved 0-2 to us.

The home team started the second half with pressure all over the field. Their attack on 52^nd minute resulted on a fall around 18 meter from our goal. After a nice combination their shot hit the bar but nothing more.

Despite the challenging conditions, both teams showed great determination and spirit throughout the match. In overall, it was a testing encounter, but our resilience and ability to adapt to the difficult playing conditions ultimately proved to be the difference between the two sides.
