NFC | Our Story

NFC is one of the oldest Dutch football associations in the Netherlands
NFC was officially founded on June 15, 1919 in Amstelveen. With over 100 years of history, our football club is one of the oldest in the city. In 1951 NFC moved permanently to 23 Sportlaan where it has resided ever since.

Today, the club has over 550 members and 29 teams and is one of the most international clubs in all of the Netherlands.
With 80% of members coming from outside of the Netherlands, NFC is truly a global club. This global mindset permeates our football philosophy - being open-minded and taking the best from teams all over the world - but also in how we interact as members of a diverse community.

NFC also has a strong partnership with Ajax. 
NFC trainers and coaches attend Ajax's coaching academy (ACA) to develop their football knowledge and understanding. NFC Youth members have also participated in training programs at Ajax to learn and also show what skills and capabilities they have acquired.

NFC is also building up its girls football program
Girls football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. NFC is proud to partner with ING to bring more opportunities to play football. We are always open to girls who are interested in football so please contact our Youth department ( [email protected] ) if you are interested in a trial training for our girls teams!

Our facilities include 2 full size pitches (1 artificial, 1 grass)
We also have a quarter-field street football pitch, a fully working clubhouse with canteen, locker rooms, and a terrace
