AWAY match against SCPB'22 - 26 March 2023

It was a highly anticipated football match between SCPB ’22 and NFC4. In a first match between the two teams, it ended with a one-sided 5:0 to NFC4 but injuries of several NFC4 players made quite a headache to NFC4 coach, Alon Goldis.   

From the very beginning the tension level was high. Both teams were determined to come out on top, and it was clear that this was going to be a battle until the very end.

The first half started off with a flurry of action, with both teams playing at a high tempo and showing off their skills. On the 16th minute, after a great assist provided by Danilo Prado cutting the SCPB defense line, Marko Feric scored his first goal. On the 37th minute things warmed up and both Kieran Pettett, from NFC4, and a SCPB player got their yellow cards. It was only 2 minutes later and both Marko Feric and his rival earned the yellow cards too. 

The second half was even more intense, with both teams throwing everything they had into the game. The NFC4 had several opportunities but our finishing did not allow us to score the second goal. The home team, meanwhile, started to look more dangerous and resulted on 2 shots on the goal but these were masterly cleared by the NFC 4 keeper, Marius Koppedraaijer. 

In the dying minutes of the game, the NFC4 players increased the intensity and suppressed the opponents. A beautiful pass from Kieran Pettett to Marko Feric on 88th minute resulted in a moment of pure magic as Marko soloed into opponents’ box and sailing the ball into the right corner, leaving the home team's goalkeeper with no chance. 

In the end, it was a tough and closely fought match and well deserved 3 points.
